The Kingdom

I went to see the Kingdom last night and I have to say that qI was quite surprised by the plot of the movie with the involvement off the Saudis' in finding their own terrorists. The casting was done well with Jamie Foxx, and Ashraf Barhorn were the two main leads in the movie. They both did a great job of complementing throughout the movie. The movie started of with a quick history lesson in the beginning of the movie to help people understand the situations with Saudi's currently by going through the history of Saudia Arabia. It was very refreshing to see that the Americans were not getting bashed about fighting the war on terror and the Saudis have the same feelings about the extremist terrorist that the Americans have. All in all if you get have a chance to go see this movie it will be worth your time.

3:10 to Yuma

Yesterday was a pretty uneventful day , did a lot of reading and ended up going to see 3:10 to Yuma. I was actually quite impressed with the movie a lot better than i thought considering the idea of the movie being a western. The cast was good with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale , who is becoming my favorite actor, the acting was very gtood , the directing was good and the story was believable. The ending was a bit puzzling with the character development in the movie. So i guess i would recommend the movie , esp. if you like the old style westerns.
